The Opportunity

We're seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our innovative team in Menlo Park, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of real estate technology and make a significant impact on one of life's most important decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with Co-Founders and existing tech team to develop product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Lead the design, development and maintenance of our back-end systems and APIs
  • Implement efficient data processing pipelines for our datasets
  • Ensure high performance, reliability and security of our systems
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
  • Help establish company culture and participate in recruiting future tech talent
  • Define and track key product metrics to measure success and optimize user experience
  • Contribute to the full stack of our product


Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of full-stack product development experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and Javascript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs (Node/Express, FastAPI)
  • Experience augmenting LLMs with RAG
  • Experience managing infrastructure in AWS
  • Knowledge of databases and data-modeling (SQL and no-SQL)
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker)
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling products in fast-paced environments
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for solving user pain points
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to wear multiple hats
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with real estate or property tech industries
  • Competency with managing infrastructure in AWS
  • Experience with MongoDB/Atlas
  • Experience with geospatial data processing
